- Thunder In The Hills is free to the public. The Hydroplane Regatta will be Sat. and Sun., Aug. 29th & 30th, at Rocky Fork Lake East Shore and East Shore Marina.

-Special Class Vintage will be there with Ken Warly ( fastest man on water ) He will bring two of his flat bottom boats.

- There will be pits on both sides this year, and food vendors. The Flea Market / Craft Market is going to be bigger this year.

-VIP Area with buffet, available for anyone with VIP passes at the resturant daily from 11:30 to end of race.

-Propeller Magazine will have two reporters and two photographers at the race this year.

-Joe cheezum, Co Race Director, will be in charge of the pit area, with the help of Joe Johson dealing with Vintage Boats.

-The race will be broadcast live on WVNU-lite 97.5 with Pat Hays, and race announcer Jeff Ayler.

-Rocky Fork Lake Alliance will put on a car, truck, and bike show on Sunday Sept. 14, on the flea Market side of the lake. They will also be serving Breakfast, for a $5.00 donation, from 5:30 am to 11:00 am, Sat. & Sun.
